It's no wonder that their chefs came from a Michelin-rated restaurant. Their dim sum, ranging from crystal shrimp to soup dumplings, fish blossom, and desserts were spot on in terms of taste, texture, and looks. In particular, my favorite was the black buns with molten egg yolks. Service is fast, friendly, and helpful. The decor and name can be confusing given Chili sounds like the Mexican chain and Mei Li means beautiful, not spicy, in Chinese. Nonetheless, this place gets packed for lunch even on a rainy day. Park on the street or nearby ample lots to check this place out, which is to the right of the building address.

Chili is an authentic Szechuan cuisine crafted by Michelin-starred chefs. They led a Michelin-starred kitchen from 2013 to 2019. This spot is not just about the food - it's about passion , history and incredible flavors. The cocktails and the foods here are beautifully presented. The kung fu shrimp is beyond amazing. The pickle fish stew is so flavorful. You should also check out their truffle beef tenderloin. It was so tender. Don't miss out the rice wine soup with its gorgeous presentation. Make sure to book a reservation in advance because this spot is always packed! We ordered Spicy wonton mouth watering chicken Kung Fu Shrimp Truffle beef tenderloin Braised tofu with crab meat Pickled fish stew Smokey whiskey Bubble Dream Follow @spinx17 for more NYC food recs!

My daughter took me here and wanted to eat dinner. We waited a few min and got a table. It's a nice atmosphere inside the restaurant and full of customers. All the staff at the restaurant are pleasant and the service is good. We ordered Dan Dan Noodles, fish dish, smoked duck, and white rice. Dan Dan noodle was good taste and the staff skillfully mixed noodles and sauce. But this noodle dish was simply just noodle and chili flavor sauce. I forgot the name of the menu, but it was a white fish dish, but it was delicious when I ate it with rice. We were disappointed that smoked duck was full of bones and small meat. We didn't enjoy it. We want to try other dishes next time.
